Outreach into the Community

Helping Hands is a dedicated group who goes out into the community once a month to help our neighbors with yard work, or other one time projects.  Often it is those who are elderly or in situations where they are no longer able to do this work themselves.   If you are available on a Saturday morning and would like to be a part of this program, please contact the church office.  The next Helping Hands work day is Saturday October 23, 9 am to 12 noon.

Opening Day for the Green Road Farmers Market will be on Thursday, June 3^rd from 1:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  The Market will be open until the first week of October.  the Market is a venue to purchase fresh local produce, Amish bakery, free range poultry and eggs, and some local crafts.  It has become a meeting place for the community.

World Wide Mission

We currently are supporting Kevin Schaner, a short term missionary to Liberia in prayer.  She is working on setting up a library in a new school in Buchanan, Liberia.  We pray for her work and the children who will benefit from her efforts in that community.
